|The second Paint Night was a big success! A group of avid painters gathered in the art room to create colourful whimsical paintings. It was a fun night filled with great company, creativity, laughs, conversation, and snacks! Thank you to everyone who supported this unique fundraiser for Safe Grad.|

The Pottery Club had their first Raku pottery firing after school on Monday, May 16th. This traditional Japanese pottery process means the clay pieces are removed from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed in containers filled with a combustile material. The smoke from the fire turns the unglazed clay and the cracks in the glaze a matte black. The Raku firing conducted by the Pottery Club was a success with some beautiful pieces created! We anticipate at least two more Raku firings before the school year ends.
